"I would suggest that they be themselves. they do a good job of finding talent."

"I sometimes didn't find the office politics appealing but that is normal for alomst any working environment."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I have no suggestions for management at this point. they tend to do a fine job."

What do you like about working at TALX?

"Management understood importance and value of tele sales - provided tools and environment to succeed. Outbound callers need significant time break after four to five hours on the phone - this break curtails the burnout factor that so frequently occurs in tele sales."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Reasons clients came to this company were due to personalized service which has now gone by the wayside in many instances"

What don't you like about working at TALX?

"Family members working together creates additional unnecessary stress. Making 100 transactional calls a day not as productive as 40 consultative calls a day."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be cognizant that the employee is right once in awhile - never won an argument with executives in five years!"

"I loved work at Frick prior to the TALX purchase. I feel as though I wasn't given a chance to prove myself before my position was eliminated."

What do you like about working at TALX?

"The people there were professional, hard working and it was fun to go to work everyday. I was VERY passionate about performing high at Frick and desired to go above and beyond everyday."

What don't you like about working at TALX?

"When they purchased us, they immediately took my work away even though my performance appraisals were always wonderful. I also reported to an individual who should not have been in a leadership role. She lost it alot and would freak out and yell at others and often cry in her office. It was strange."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Interview me again. I would be interested in coming back to work at TALX. I have a lot of useful knowledge and since I left my experience has grown even more. I would love to give it another shot."
