"Peer relationships were strong. Ability to cross other areas to solve mutual issues."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Question the policies and practices related to employee development. What does zero tolerance mean.Question the strategic direction and determine this fits your vision of that department."

What don't you like about working at Western Maryland AHEC?

"HR policies and practices were inconsistent. HR had too mutch influence in how you operated your individual department. There should be measures and standards but the role should be advisory."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Sensitivity to situations. Use of coaching and mid level management development."

"A lot of nice people. Informal structure. Successes and failures are highly visible"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Startel's compensation package is woefully inadequate given the workload and daily pressures. Startel has gone through a series of ownership and management upheavals over the past few years, and the dust has yet to settle."

What don't you like about working at Startel Wireless?

"I no longer work there. Startel is under new ownership. After 27 years of faithful service, I was dismissed without a single dime of severance. I am at a difficult time in my life, caring for a terminally-ill spouse. I had hoped that the company I had sacrificed so much for over the years would be there to support me. I was sadly mistaken."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep your resume current."

"I enjoy problem solving and trying to improve the co's performance."

What don't you like about working at Takasago?

"Unfortunately with the current upper management it's difficult to improve the co's performance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Better communication and make the managers manager their dept's. Keep the good people and compensate them accordingly and let go of the people who are not contributing."
