"At the time of working for them they did not have a good set career path for the IT path. I know that they have since altered and are continuing to work on that developement for the IT department of the company."

"I think they did not have any major areas to change as far as the company operates."

"Managing hour reporting was fraught with the possibility for errors."

"Insure the contractor reports hours to the contracting company and Sykes using the exact same form."

"Comfortable air-conditioned environment, had my own cubicle after training."

"I wouldn't suggest taking this job unless you love talking on the phone all day, have strong people skills, and are good with computers."

"Too much training, really slow and buggy software for data handling, dealing with customers who redirect their anger to you regularly."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get a completely new program to manage calls, only accept clients who have a good reputation with their customers. Provide new employees some time to adapt to talking so much to prevent sore throats."

"It was relaxed environment. Supervisors were knowledgable about the applications that we support. There was also some room for advancement."

"The fact that after they advised us that we did not have to worry about our jobs we were released. This was in a two week span."

"I would hope that they could a little more honest with their employees."
