Since the merger of these two companies, Superior Essex’ headquarters has been in Atlanta, Georgia.

In 2008, Superior Essex was acquired for approximately $900 million by LS Cable & System, a Korean cable manufacturing firm. The goal of this acquisition was to assist LS Cable & System with penetration into the European and North American markets. Today, Superior Essex is among the largest cable and wire manufacturing firms in the world, specializing in magnet wire. It has manufacturing facilities in Europe, the U.S., China and Africa.
