"I have worked for Suntrust Mortgage for 7 years in different roles. They have been a great asset to my career goals. My supervisor was always there to jump in and help if needed. They had created a great support system for the remote workers."
"The company is changing for the worst and is taking great advantage of its workers. I'd stay away."
"Great company. Compensation below competitors."
"I’ve worked for Suntrust bank for 6 years and really love the company and their culture."
"I've worked at SunTrust for the past year and it has been a phenomenal company that I've been apart of. They've taught me the in's and out's for the financial system along with operating as one big team; every department helps educate each other so we all become efficient in the service we can provide to the clientele. I've become a professional with the process of applying for home equity lines of credit along with mortgages to following through with the closing process with each client. The company is going through a merger with BB&T which will surely be exciting to see in the future!"
"Don’t wish to write a review."
"Management encourages work life balance and tries to work with you to ensure you are happy in your current role. Advancement opportunities are encouraged. It is a great place to become Financially confident"
"SunTrust is a good company to work for with a higher than average pay scale and good workweek schedule. If you are looking for a slow-paced position this is the place for you!"
"I have worked for SunTrust now Truist for 10 plus years as a Fulfillment Specialist III. Pros. I work from home & I enjoy my shift hours 6-2:30 pm which is especially helpful in the midst of the pandemic. The pay is competitive & our Fulfillment team works well together. There are lots of opportunities to cross-train within the Loss Mitigation-Fulfillment team. Cons: The turnover within the management team may make establishing a rapport a little challenging. I have had 5 managers and the last 2-3yrs."
"During my time at Wachovia, I was fortunate to learn the entire loan process from conception to completion. After that, I had the opportunity to experience the banking side with Suntrust Bank.I was responsible to assisting clients with their everyday banking needs, along with ensuring that tellers adhered to their daily balancing."
"great group to work for"
"The company has an issue with finding the root cause of the problem because they prefer to use old methods that don't work and will not use up to date tools and techniques which hurts themselves and there customers. If you are an analytical or an introvert you won't last long because decisions are made based on how people feel and not the facts. The people who suck up and put others down are the ones who get promoted. If you want to use up to date tools and techniques this is not the company for you because you will not get to use them which will prevent you from growing."
"I've worked with Fay Servicing for 10 years. I will recommend Fay. The ethical work environment is great."
"I have worked for SunTrust/trust for 10 months and with those 10 months, I have gained a substantial amount of knowledge. As far as management and help from senior colleagues, they were very helpful with any situation or question."
"SunTrust is an excellent company, though it recently merged with BB&T to become Truist, so it will presumably be quite different going forward."
