"I enjoyed the opportunity to use my various skills and also expand into more client-facing roles as a product manager while still being involved in technical/development projects."

"It was a somewhat difficult transition when the smaller company (FAME) was bought by SunGard and our groups were integrated across various business units."

"Be professional, and know your stuff!"

What don't you like about working at SunGard?

"Management is not very good at managing expectations, and you have to do a lot of self management, They are slow at performance evaluations, and raises. I left mostly because of an opportunity to make a lot more money."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make sure your underlings are appreciated, and push back against stakeholders when their requirements are unrealistic."
