"during 'crunch time' we were all crammed into these tiny conference rooms for countless hours so that we could share ideas... even though we already all sat right next to each other. Never knew from one day to then next (or even one hour to the next) whether or not management was going to be wacky hyper or evil Satan."

"Take medication"

"Throw it on the wall and see if it sticks approach to planning/implemention. This was a fearless environment which recognized that we could recover from mistakes. Also ran the business like 430 individual business with local accountability for P&L."

"Quality of personnel. There is a great tolerance for incompetence. Personnel policies either allowed people to work in positions above their heads of moved them in to equally challenging roles. Also, during my tenure, there were never any clear goals and objectives for my organization"

"I liked it better when it was Nations Rent. All company rules dont apply to management. They show up to work high or drunk. Thats when they show up. But I enjoyed working with some of the other employees."

"Apply only if you need the money"

"When Sunbelt bought out Nations Rent, we were lied to about getting better benefits. But they were worse. Middle management is not worth what they get paid."

"Replace all your regional managers in Texas and the VP and some of the store managers."
