"Great company for those working in operations positions. Big disconnect between "functional" departments (IT, Marketing, HR, etc.) and project management teams. Project teams are incredibly driven, offer a lot of support, and have clear paths for advancement."

"Hired on at Suffolk in 2017 after taking a year off due to my wife's passing. I believe that I was a very effective employee. However, I was going thru a difficult transitional time in my life. I'm looking forward to starting in a new situation somewhere that I can be a high functioning contributor and finish the last 15 years of my career before planned retirement."

"It is a snakepit, there is always somebody there to stab you in the back."

Engineering Assistant

"I think people in the Boston area should be thankful to have a person like John Fish around, he has contributed to the growth of the greater Boston area and other parts of the country's economy on the highest level. Even with all the criticism that at times Suffolk had to sustain by other competitors and union groups, Suffolk is the only company that's still striving and keeping some of us with jobs in this harsh economy. I think it's been the product of regardless how many growing pains issues Suffolk has endured, if it wasn't for the underlying essence of the good intentions Suffolk carries their existence, they wouldn't be where they are right now. Some people might say it's the money, but it's not. From where he started most of us would have cashed in a long time ago."
