Sucampo Pharmaceuticals Employee

"I interviewed for this job two months ago. they gave me an offer very late, their reasoning, the head of department had gone out of town and they didn't even apologize for the delay. I kept waiting cause I thought this was my dream job. I started working sometime ago at my company. First day on the job twenty minutes into the office they directly throw me into work with no care about introduction or orientation. they slap a bathroom key in my hand and go. I try to talk to my co workers no one is even friendly. If you ask a question to the Biostatistician then he will ask you a question back. HR manager will treat you very rudely cause she can. The programming group is of a particular ethnicity so they like to keep their circle as small as possible. They will tell you they don't want you to work more than 9 to 5 but will give work which makes you work more than 9 to 5. They try to keep you from adjusting to the work place by throwing deadlines right in the first week. if they feel you are not up to mark with their pace they won't communicate with you but will fire you by a phone call. They ask you to leave the office immediately in an embarrassing fashion. My advice to the headquarters is there is a need for a new head of department in programming at Bethesda MD . I love your papers and the great work that you do. But treating an employee so harshly leaves a very bad taste and it will prevent anyone from working in future."
