"Be friendly, be sociable, be thick skinned, expect strong interview questions so be prepared."

"At the time, students were invited from all over the country and some individual's attitudes were of negative quality."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Ergonomics for programing, and working with computers in general were lacking. Investment in dedicated computer desks and proper office chairs would improve the experience."

"This was a job I had during school. It challenged me to consider solutions to computing problems that were outside of the box."

"Be prepared to work hard and earn most of your benefits in gaining a wealth of knowledge."
What don't you like about working at Arkansas Tech University?
"It didn't pay much; however, this was expected since it was more of an internship."

"I believe the professors should have tried to get more students involved in the research."

What do you like about working at University of Nebraska?
"I enjoyed the autonomy afforded to me. I did not have a set schedule but was trusted enough by my PI to know when I had work to do & was always trusted to perform my test runs on time."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would say to be honest. If you are willing to put in the hours to complete a test run, let the Prof. you are interviewing with know that. It is quite a bit of work, and more waiting, but it is worth it to see your results go toward a published paper!"
What don't you like about working at University of Nebraska?
"I was limited in the number of hours I could work per week, which crimped some of my progress. I could come in after-hours and work, which I did, but was not compensated for some of my hours. I also did not like that we had to move our lab equipment due to renovations being completed on one of the buildings. Due to this, one of my projects was delayed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take off the hour restrictions on student research. Also, I would like to have had a better study to base my research on (we were not sure if some of the results were fabricated). Everything else was amazing!"
What do you like about working at Roanoke College?
"The environment and the people at the company provided for a pleasant and effective working environment. The instrumentation available at the company was top notch."

"Be confident and polite, don't be afraid to have fun with your interview but always be professional."
What don't you like about working at Roanoke College?
"While the majority of people working at the company are pleasant, there are cliques present in the working group that no amount of bonding exercises can cure."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I'd suggest the management renovate the science buildings to be greener in accordance with their new regulations and goals."

"This was the best opportunity of my collegiate career. They granted me the opportunity to learn under the smartest professor in the world."

"Great environment, but there is always the risk of working with a bad professor."

"None. I assume they know what they're doing. I always had the support I needed."

What do you like about working at UConn?
"The freedom to explore different facets of research. The mentoring of my professor also was a great bonus."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There really is no interview required, just have a good idea about the research you would want to perform."
What don't you like about working at UConn?
"The one complaint I have is that the equipment that is available is not in the best of shape. Perhaps an upgrade is required."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Other than upgrading the laboratory equipment, really nothing of consequence."

What do you like about working at Barrow Neurological Institute?
"At Barrow, there is an environment of collaboration. Many projects are collaborative with other labs."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just let them know what you can do and what you are capable of doing."
What don't you like about working at Barrow Neurological Institute?
"The only down side is that my graduate work in parasitology does not fit with Barrow's neurology theme."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None, Barrow was founded to research neurological aspect of things and that's what they have maintained."
