"I have worked for Stryker for four months. Unfortunately, I was contract-based, and due to a company restructure, my contract was terminated. Though the interviewing process was rigorous, they did an excellent job of matching the right individuals to the same team. The communication between employee and leadership was excellent, and the training for the position was patient and informative. They provided all the tools necessary to be successful."

"Great company to work for, but there seems to be limited opportunity for growth due to current managers/HR. Not all input provided is taken seriously and it appears that it is mostly those that always agree with their manager no matter what seem to move up."

"An interesting group of people dedicated to selling the best medical devices and services that technology can produce. Slightly myopic on the importance of sales, but understandable given the 20+ years of growth the company has achieved. In my opinion the current question of significance for Stryker is whether they can continue creating new products internally or if they will have to go out and buy pre-existing products to continue growing. The challenge of running a $9+ billion corporation almost entirely on paper is another factor that Stryker must come to grips with, in my opinion. I find it ironical that a 21st century medical technology company is being run primarily with 1980's paper business processes."

"I have been working at Stryker for over 5 years and have noticed a lot of favoritism. Managers are given jobs not because of what they know, but whom they know."
