"The fact that if you have personal emergencies or issues going on at home management doesn't care and still requires you to stay there. You may even lose your job."

"Listen more to employees and offer time off for personal emergencies."

"Be certain that you are willing to give a solid 8:00am - 5:00pm with a variety of days worked for the first month, and have no personal time planned for that month."

"It was fun. I did not hate going to work. If I needed something business or professional I knew I could get direction at the very least."

"Know the business! Be open minded about how to get things done. Do not get sucked into drama of the work place. If you let it Stream can make your career very enjoyable. I loved working there and wish I still worked for Stream!"

What don't you like about working at Stream Global Services?

"Once you reached supervisor level management it was very difficult to move beyond that. Especially being a female."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Create a more diverse upper management bench. Men are smart but so are women having a health mix allows for diverse ideas, thoughts and solutions."

"I really loved my job and was upset that the call center closed and was shipped over seas."

"I was able to grow at all the jobs that I held there. When I was bored or out of work to do, all I had to do is let my boss know and she would give me something else to do even though it was not something I would do as a Training Coordinator."

"Living from day to day wondering if the call center was still there."

"Not really due to the management that I was under was always good to me and always got along with them."

"I hope eventually truth comes to ight and are fired."

"Old workstations running XP. Single monitors when two would enhance productivity. No UPS on workstations and the building generator takes too long to kick in leading to crashes of the phone system and all workstations. Not enough time allocated per call to allow complete resolution; the push was to get off the call by ordering parts or having the customer do something that would take an extended amount of time."

"+ Really good experience with HP tools and training. + Grate customer support model+ Employee care (brake rooms with computers and gaming consoles)-Frustrating/low pay job-A lot of Mandatory/Voluntary Time Off -Poor management."

"I worked for Global Stream Services for 13 years, and was terminated due to what they call poor job performance. The performance standard is based on client customer satisfaction survey. The Client wanted an 85% top box return (8 or 9), I did not meet this goal for the month, and was terminated, although I resolved most customers issues."

"The ridiculously low pay and low levels of job task differentiation"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I suggest that management find a way to pay workers a reasonable amount otherwise the company will be full of the mediocre and unambitious."

"It's a call center. Doing business class support for (mostly) non technical people. Though I may not find this environment particularly fulfilling, I know that the end user needs this kind of assistance. The support reps are able to forever affect the way the client is publicly viewed by doing a work and going above and beyond."
