"I am enjoying being a strategic account executive. But my company has a lack of focus and no market strategy. I enjoy working with top level executives and state level contacts and learning about ways that my company can impact a state on a larger scale. I just wish my company was more supportive of the sale process and strategy that it takes to get the job done."

"Spend as much time as possible at corporate HQ to establish and cultivate face-to-face realtionships."

"Customer Service support could have been better. Product creation and deployment could have been handled with more input from clients and executives handling accounts."

"Account Executives could handle more authoritity and oversight of assigned account support teams."

"The limited authority I was given to get my job done made me angry."

"Management at CVS Caremark should correct the problems, instead of simply blaming others. Look internally to see what is working and what isn't."

"I liked learning about the new video compression and video distribution technology and presenting/selling it to customers"

"Make sure that you have a clear understanding of the job before you take it."

"I ran the channel sales and unfortunately our internal direct sales team was competing with my channel sales team."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would have structured the sales channel vs direct sales differently. Essentially, letting the channel have specific verticals that required more support but brought in less revenue."
