"Look a better ways to allow Major Accounts Executives to balance professional responsibilities and personal life."

What do you like about working at Stericycle?

"Working along side with my transportation team and assisting with the plant processing team when needed. Building a team of drivers and educating them in aspects of waste collecting, safety procedures, customer service & relationships, and making new friendships all at the same time."

"I believe the company is a great company to work for but its leadership is terrible in San Leandro, CA."

What don't you like about working at Stericycle?

"Management is terrible, staffing is a problem, poor facility enviornment, safety management is terrible, drivers need proper tools & equipment to fully service customers, management communication is terrible, and there is no trust between employees and management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Participate in every aspect of his or hers department. Evaluate your employees strengths and weaknesses to provide further training or coaching if necessary. Lead be example and be fair across the board. Take ownership of mistakes and admit to them. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty to work along side a memeber of your team."

"Selling in the medical field"

"Stericycle is a great organization, but prefer their growth to be from outside of their organization, and through competitor acquisition."

"There isn't much to like once you are in the customer service department."

"If you are applying for customer service you will never advance to anyting and there is no direction in the customer service department."

"There was way too much politics and honestly felt like being back in high school. The HS mentality started from the top."

"I would strongly suggest working together and not against each other. Be a leader."

"I have worked for Stericycle for over 8 years. It was ok when I was first hired, but over the last 2 years - the management role is null. Management does not care. When approached with issues that affect the job, they will not address the issues. Employees arrive when they want and leave in the same manner. I am getting phone calls for service even when it is not my area. Each time I inform management, I am told well you are on site - take care. Management rarely comes on site. Nothing works. I am not allowed to speak to the customer about issues. This company is a joke."

"recycling different food products and household goods for animal food and reuseable items for the poor."

"If you just want a pay check this is the place to be."

"to many chiefs and not enough indians. The teams leads hand you a skid and tell you 45 minutes or less then walk away from you."

"I would reorganize the warehoure put teams together explain what needs to be done and and help them get it done."

"If you can handle LOTS of stress then this is the job for you!!!"

What don't you like about working at Stericycle?

"Everything is micro Manged... There are a lot of 2 faced people.. Management is Awful!!! You will never have a chance of moving up. If you make any mistakes they take away from your little 3% a year!!!! Nothing you do is ever good enough!! Mangers don't want to give more money or bonuses because it will take away from their bonus!!!!!!!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Try to know your employees and treat them like a human being. Don't judge them and assume what someone else is telling you the truth!!! Take care of the little people thats who makes the company!!!!"

"I have worked for Stericycle since 2012, when it was still Appletree. Most of the changes since the buyout have been more negative than anything else. There is poorly communicated change within the workplace, the job is demanding emotionally and educationally and the pay and benefits leave something to be desired."

"BE PREPARED FOR CONSTANT BREAK DOWNS MACHINE REPAIRS AND LACK OF MOVEMENT FROM FLOOR TO OUTPUT END RESULT."

"It's a good company to work for. I do not have any dislikes as I have not had any issues with any of the employees. The only thing is my contract is ending."
