"Employees seem friendly. Thier is a lot of work to do so you will stay busy. They will allow you to work on aspects out side your roles. Most manager are understanding about comp time and working around personal appointments."

"Unless you are looking for a job without a career path, cancle the interview."

What don't you like about working at State of Texas?

"The COO micro-manages the division. He has no backbone and does not take responsibility for his division. He manages through fear and creates an unstable working environment. He is not respected and if often the source of jokes."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop the double dipping. Once an individual decides to leave (retire or otherwise) they should not be able to continue working there. Every individual that has left (including retired) and came back, does so with an attitude that makes it difficult for everyone else."
