"State Street is a BIG company, so there were always new challenges and new people to learn about and provide marketing support. The role of interactive marketing pioneers was not fully supported at first, but over time our messages and methods won attention and awards for the company, which brought acceptance and recognition."

"All groups are different and in constant change, do your research on the culture of the company as well as the department."

What don't you like about working at State Street?

"The company was always a sales-driven company. So while there was support from management for interactive marketing, there was a resistance to endorse standards and guidelines across the company, resulting in some online properties that did not support our efforts."

"Support sales and marketing integration."
