"When giving examples, just stick to the facts. Do not try to paint a glorious picture while selling yoourself because the interviewers will not be able to follow along nor will they have appreciation for the example."

What don't you like about working at State of Michigan?

"The cronyism that exists throughout the entire organization. It's definitely not what you know, it's who you know which leads to incompetent people being promoted to leadership positions. That is a quick way to destroy an organization."

"Remove many of the unnecessary barriers created by way too many levels of bureaucracy."

"Give employees real incentives. Stop cutting their pay. Stop forcing them to take unpaid days. Stop fighting thier raises once agreed upon."
