"State Farm offered me my first internship experience ever, so I can say that State Farm is amazing in its efforts at handing out opportunities. My time there was encouraging and my project managers were not only helpful, but pushed me to go beyond what I knew. The engineering department at State Farm is extensive but still it is an insurance company and for engineers and developers, there isn't a strong development and creative culture that exists."

"I like the culture of the company, and I like the flexibility of a small agency atmosphere."

"I would advise other candidates to be prepared to learn on the job from the beginning. Because it is a small firm, many people are wearing many hats, so you have to be prepared to learn as you go."
