"The State of California is a secure entity and provides a diverse opportunity for those who can relocate to Sacramento. As for the attainment of promotions in any other city, the opportunities are limited due to the policies of old which favor governance from a center (Capitol) instead of global diversion."

"I worked with a great supervising attorney and cafeteria was good."

What don't you like about working at State of California?

"the gov' cut back on our hours when the permanent workers hours were cut."

"The State of California suffers from utilising a 60 year old mainframe with a series of retrofit emulations. The users are accustomed to working with key strokes to do their job and are unionised. State workers work in an inverse culture that suffers from exclusiveness rather than inclusive unconscious bias. These are the challenges I take on willingly and unselfishly."

"More training, better supervision, better working conditions, more communication throughout factory"

"Having come from the private sector, the state is a whole different animal in that it seems that people do the minimum work they are required. I much prefer the private sector."
