"The place is a joke. I was hired to do modeling and ended up doing middle school level data entry. Went from working on a trading floor pricing CDSs to renaming documents. Stay away from this black void; you will feel your IQ slipping."

"I am well compensated and the work schedule is flexible and there is no micro-managing."

"The days are long & the work is tedious, the initial large raises and quick promotions are alluring but become less frequent and less lucrative as time goes on. It's a good job if you are interested in finance and are suited to the work."

What don't you like about working at Standard & Poor's?

"My work is boring, repetitive, and involves sitting in front of two computer screens all day, which can sometimes last 12 hours, overtime is required and my co-workers are lazy & unmotivated which shows up in their work."

"I would create an environment of encouragement and growth-opportunities that allow employees to flourish within their positions and gain the skills and experience necessary to move on when ready."

"I am more or less in control of my workflow. There are occasional assignments that pique my interest."

"Tasks are often simplistic and not challenging. Management does not exert proper control over department heads, leading to processes that are upside-down."

"Throw out the IT department."
