"No advancement or flexibility. Flexibility is given to new staff not old. Advancement is not internal, increased income due to education is only given to nurses although the facility pays towards business degrees. Salaries are below other facilities. Support and communication is lacking backup. Reviews are not conducted in a way that is either fare or adequate."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to staff and understand the processes that allow flow and communication amongst internal and external individuals. Support each other. Communicate issues as they occur and not only at review time. The review process has flaws. It should be separated based on performance only, then based on what the department is able or allowed to give for raises. Currently something negative has to be written, no matter how ridiculous to ensure a lower score, reducing the percentage."
