What do you like about working at Spirit Halloween?

"It gave me a chance to show that I do know how to lead and inspire a team to work productively together. Also, I was ecstatic with the fact that is was a Halloween establishment because of my creative background with special effects that made this so much more enjoyable. I loved constructing all the horror effects displays and utilizing all the props in order to get the desired fear factor."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just be yourself, show the passion needed for the position and remember that it is about giving the client a chance to live out a night as made-up character."

What don't you like about working at Spirit Halloween?

"The very fact that it was seasonal. My district manager expressed that he would love to have kept me over if we were year round."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust in your team, there is a reason why you chose them. You know their strengths and weaknesses, so you know where to best utilize them. It is for that reason that you do not need to micro-manage them, just trust your team to excel for you."
