"I had a interview on Thursday, and oh my hot lanta.. I’ve never experienced such a horrible and condescending rude recruiter in my work search , When i first got the call she was not upbeat when speaking with me , even though she heard my tone how excited i was to speak with her , I even said her name before anything to make sure it was her at the introduction of the call . Into the call she started describing the job , and i let her know i can work with all the qualifications for the position. She didn’t ask to know anything about me as a person to understand who she was talking to , just straight to my resume she clearly had . I answered her questions and explained to her the job requirement types i’ve worked(contracted) and i’ve literally repeated the same thing over and over as if she was being condescending.. As i was explaining to her again about the contracted jobs i’ve held she interrupts me to have me repeat what i’ve acknowledged numerous of times. I started to ask her how success is measured for this role she tells me she doesn’t know , she has never been on the call phones , my son is an infant and when i explained my baby had upcoming appointments she bluntly says we don’t make accommodations and training is mandatory and cannot be missed , so i allowed her to speak her lil spill , and i ask how does this employer handle accommodations for their employees , this lady going to bring up how scheduling is mandatory and blah blah … when what i really meant is , do you guys provide well beings days for your employees that are experiencing hard times , bereavement or mental health chat lines or call lines to vent when overwhelmed .. like you know do you guys appreciate your employees , man this lady says that a question you can ask out HR team ????? She was rude , condescending, active listening skills i give a -3, She didn’t answer from listening i just get like she wanted to be in control."
"I dont have any negative comments regarding Spectrum. I only regret the timing of my employment."
"I worked for Charter communications also known as Spectrum for a total of 24 years. it is a good company to work for overall. Great benefits package."
"lack of leadership, instability, confusion"
"Lack of Senior Level Leadership"
"My experience at spectrum was great overall not a lot of opportunity for growth great benefits and reward system. People were really nice and I learned a lot. The communication between upper management and associates was very lacking."
"I have worked at Spectrum for about 6 months now. I love the services offered and felt that the sales team would be fun. There is a lot of corporate "baggage", due to the merger of Charter, Time Warner, and Brighthouse companies. A streamlined business is in order and I feel it will happen, eventually."
"Spectrum is a great company they are behind with their operating systems and mobile aspect however offer great affordable rates there wasn’t a lot of discretion as a sales specialist great benefits and hourly commission structure wasn’t the best either great stepping stone."
"I've worked for Spectrum for two years. The 24/7 news channel is a great idea, however, it needs a lot of improvement."
"I have worked in Spectrum Brands about a year and a half now and I think the company, in general, is great, but some of the policies implemented by the company seem unreasonable like having a bonus for top-level executives and not passing on the benefits to the low-level hardworking employees."
