"Special Olympics Souther California is the definition of positive work place and culture. I love the teamwork, recognition, and leadership that the entire team expresses. I hope I can find a workplace that can match this type of culture. It was a beautiful organization to work for."
"Very friendly place to work. Working with the athletes is very fulfilling."
"Executive team that leads this organization is brutal and unethical. CEO is known for destroying companies. Left the last two organizations she ran with horrible reputation and in shambles. She is known for firing people every five minutes for no known reason. She is ill tempered and fires staff on a continual basis. No one is exempt to her madness except her close group of unqualified and unethical cronies. This executive team does not belong in the non-profit world and should be fired."
"Very shockingly unethical environment. CEO that runs this company previously ran NSC. A thriving and profitable company that she ran into the ground. Fired almost the entire company staff in a short period of time. Very hot tempered and extremely unethical behavior brought to this organization. Fired hundreds of people for no logical reason. Stay away from this place!"
"CEO has left the last two companies she ran near bankrupt. She would fire staff every five minutes with yelling and name calling. A group of us were fired for voting for Obama. She fired the staff several times over in the short period she ran them. Many people she fired had built these companies and worked with them as long as thirty years only to be fired for no known reason."
"This organization has inspired many. I feel it needs to focus more on the employees' work/life balance."
"I've worked for The Special Olympics of Northern CA and Nevada for about 4 months now and I absolutely love everything they stand for. Giving kids with special needs an opportunity to feel part of their community and participate in athletics is truly a great deed. I commend them for all they do."
