"Although it is a good place to work, do not expect to have many growth opportunities position wise. It is widely known that to get a good raise or to get a promotion you have to leave the company and come back at a future date."

"There is no path for growth and career opportunity if you are not in upper management. Most employees will leave to gain an edge on their careers and grow professionally."

"Provide clear direction and timelines, be honest with expectations, provide opportunities for growth, work to ensure that team members feel engaged and an integral, contributing part of the team."

"The people were great and I was able to work with some really big companies like LevI Strauss and the Reeebok."
What don't you like about working at Shopko?
"Very shaky company and retail is so up and down."

"ShopKo needs a clear marketing image and needs to separate themselves from Target and Wal-mart."
