"Softworld is a company that functions by acting as a foot in the door for an interview. They'll take a commission from the company they have you working for as a contractor, and then pay you. They offer no job security, no wage in the event that their contract is canceled, no vacation, and the legal minimum of sick days. My personal experience with Softworld was through an occasional phone call from my supervisor, which mostly covered 'is everything okay.' There's nothing particularly good or bad with my experience here, it was mostly as present as a mayfly- there for a moment, only to disappear the next."

"I've worked for Softworld, Inc. for about 3 months now. I find it to be a little lacking on the communication side of things and when there is communication, the same thing comes from multiple people because it's not coordinated."

"Softworld is nothing more than an intermediary job searcher. They don't provide any services that the company they send you to work for isn't legally obligated to provide anyway, they don't cover wages if the contract you're working on ends for any reason (including no reason, a bad deal for their 'cancel at any time with no penalty' contracts) The only thing they provide is a foot in the door in the event that they find a place they want you to work at."

"I've worked for Softworld for about 7 months as a contract-to-hire for USAA. Softworld is not exactly the most professional company that I have worked for. They lack a lot of infrastructure that USAA had to facilitate. My experience with the contracted company has however been pleasant."
