"I am tired of coming up with solutions to other people's problems. I am tired of working for ungrateful companies that give me rave reviews and then when the proverbial "S*#$" hits the fan, you get laid off. I'm tired of dealing with politics. For the next question: Do I plan to stay in my line of work? Yes, BUT, I am going freelance. I will not become a permanent employee of any enterprise again. As you can see by the list of employers I have had, they have been rather an ungrateful lot! Compaq, Enron, HP, TomorrowNow - this company broke the law in a big way!, BP / IBM, Wildcat Development, Enerflex."

"They don't let me work at home as often as I'd like."

"Upgrade the whole system to C# so that future development speed increases."
