1.5Everything moves slow at SofterWare. Quality in work product is an ultra low priority -- and when I brought this to light to my supervisor and his manager -- I got called in to speak with HR. The first issue was "too many emails." I was treated as a black sheep when I sent important emails that were rooted in facts and tied to best practices. The second issue resulted in my contractual completion and I didn't even get a chance to reconcile, hand over my work, nor say goodbye to the few friends I made there. Stay away from working here or dealing with them. They care more about hierarchy than quality.
Adequacy is the enemy of excellence. The CEO needs to identify the overall strategy and objectives for the business so that each area of the organization can their own objectives, goals, strategies and measurements that align with the company goals. Then give each area the responsibility for achieving their goals and hold them accountable accordingly
