"The overload of cases per case manager not leaving the case manager enough personal time."

"To hire more staff as each case is precious as the next."

"I like that it is a short commute from my home."

"I would not recommend working for this company. Employees are not supported, not given adequate training and tools to do the jobs assigned, and not treated respectfully."
What don't you like about working at DaVita?
"The company makes it very clear through every company practice that profits, rather than patient and staff well-being, is the most important consideration, while claiming to be the best dialysis company in the world. No matter what your role in the clinics, the workload is completely unrealistic. The management seems remote and clueless about what it is like to work in the clinics. Employees are managed in a culture of fear and intimidation, and this gets passed on to patients, whose lives depend on dialysis. This company is very unethical as an employer and as a health care provider."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would have a more realistic understanding of what it is like to work on the front lines in DaVita facilities. I would cut out the phony corporate culture."

"My likes are: it is close to home, there is a certain amount of professional satisfaction, and paydays."

"Do not come to work for this company; it could ruin your career."

"The work load is unrealistic for most of the staff. The company mantra of being the best dialysis company in the world is dishonest."

"I would have a more realistic understanding of what it is like to work for DaVita. Cut the phony corporate culture."

"State of the art environment. The organization treats its patients well."

"Describe to the interviewer how you would be an assett to the company."

"No opportunity for advancement in medical social work. Supervision is provided by nurses, not other social workers."

"Make it a priority to treat employees as well as the patients."

"Clients are interesting. Co-workers are hard working and ethical, for the most part."

"Interview your potential boss and coworkers thoroughly. Insist on a higher salary than what they offer, as you will be totally over worked."
What don't you like about working at PSCH?
"The only way to move up is through favoritism. Become best friends with your boss and you will get a promotion regardless of how poor your work ethic and quality of your work is."

"We would benefit from management who are actual clinicians- versus hiring young people who are skilled administratively but not at all clinically."
