Social Control Employee

"Not the best company to work for. Although the pay is pretty good, there's a lot of tension and strain between the employees and upper management. The company's Founder is very difficult to work with, and as a result there is a high turnover rate due to people either being fired or quitting regularly. You will have the opportunity to work with some very interesting and cool brands, and some of the coworkers mesh well together. The best and most stressful times were those when the Founder was away on vacation or out of the hospital... that says a lot if employees don't even want to be around their own boss. In addition, minimal benefits are offered and you will have to pay for your own health insurance. You will get the minimum amount of PTO accrual available, but it's rare that you will get to take all of it, especially around the holiday season. Some employees would have to call in sick or beg just to get time off to see their families around the holidays. Get in, build your portfolio, and get out when you can."
