2.7You can learn about scrum, agile mythology and other management related work.
The negative thing about SNL is about permission plan and it is like you are compared with other team members, even if your working domain is different from them it is like comparing hares with tortoises, on land a hare will be much faster but in water the hare will not able to move except watching tortoise from the river bank.
The next point is that rewards among the team members are distributed like in total rating of 4 among six team members, it is mandatory that manager must give 2 to at least 3 or 4 people and 3 to point to maximum 2 people and 4 to only one, even if they are slightly behind from each other.
So as a result 4 will get good reward, 3 will get less and 2 will get nothing, even no salary increment at the end of the year, which means his hard work and his struggles are thrown in trash in front of him, even if it is picked up once he leaves the room.
3.6SNL is an international company with nearly 6,000 employees. At SNL we strive to deliver the highest quality and most comprehensive and timely financial data available.
3.8The company lacks any real expertise in the technology stack it uses for its products. Most developers come from non .NET, ASP.NET or web development backgrounds yet they end up working on these systems. There is no good process for code quality control so the system is mostly poorly written, poor performing. The person responsible for UX/UI has no prior experience so system usability is nill.
