"Smart Action is a growing company, although they are no longer in the "start-up phase" the company culture still has very strong ties to what you would see in a start-up. The team is fairly new but they are a team, I find it rare to see an organization that does not play the "blame game"."

"I joined as a software engineering intern but I was doing work that a software engineer was doing. There was a lot of responsibility which is both good and bad. The companies HR department was not timely in its responses to questions."

"I worked for SmartAction for nearly two years. I found the work environment oppressive, controlling and condescending. They love to pay you in fake money (worthless stock options) or otherwise under-market whilst working you to the bone, unashamedly using up every hour of your nights and weekends... and they love, love, love to shoot down all your ideas whilst executing their poorly contrived ones The moment you challenge that you get called into a meeting. Oh and before I forget, they love their biannual reviews (a review every 6 months) this falls inline with their tight cult like control over you."
