"I've worked for SCL for a year plus, I've found it to be a good company that is at the mercy of the sales department. The company is still young, however, it has serious issues defining goals for its team outside of sales. The deliverables are hard to meet often for many departments when the finish line continues to be moved. It has a lot of potential to be great, however, when the bad times were rough, they were extremely difficult."

"I worked for Smart City Networks for about a year and in that time I found the management to be a good motivated and empowering group, but it was only the first few tiers that this was true, once you hit regional things fell apart. My work area (the entire convention center) was a blast to work in and kept me fit as I would have to run to the calls but it was never too busy to cause me any issues. The clientele were all professionals and acted as such making my job easy and my clients happy."

"Get as much as you can coming in since you wont get much as the years go by without a constant fight and excuses."

What don't you like about working at Smart City Telecom?

"Management only things about themselves. Asking for opinions all the time but then uses it against the employees. Very hard to get noticed and promoted (If your lucky) Tense Environment, everything is monitored including email, phones, internet etc."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus on the customers instead of pointing fingers for bad judgments to the employees inside. People are laid off if not the right fit to specific people on the top regardless of experience and tenure in the company."

"stop the games- treat people kindly-don't shock the pool- listen to the people and act on the recommendations If you ask employees for their opinions and ideas do not use it against them-Hr would like to protect and good people-but cant, management will 86 u"
