"When I handed them my resignation letter, I told them that I got a competing offer which is 20% more than what they were paying me there. I asked them if they can match that. My boss just told me he will talk to HR and his hands were a little bit tied up blah blah blah, which basically meant that he did not care one single bit. I felt no compassion or empathy for the way he talked to me. Just like how the other bosses talked there."
