"I have worked for Silver Spring Networks for the past 4,5 years. Silver Spring Networks develops intelligent, IP-based networking products that allow utilities to dramatically improve efficiency, providing their customers with insight and control, and ensure the reliable delivery of low-cost services. I really liked the company and I wished things had been different there. I thought I would work there for many more years. I still think they are a great company to work for, they have a good product that will improve the way many people live, and at the same time show how people can make better use of the finite resources we have. If SSN can find a way to satisfy the customers and at the same time provide the quick results the investors require, Silver Spring will have a great future."

"I've never worked for a company that has so much politics than this company. There is a lot of backstabbing and trash talking which really makes it a hostile environment to work in. The hours are extremely long and you do not get recognized for your hard work. Most departments are really disorganized, so nothing is ever getting done. Software is unstable, crashing frequently. In short: stay away."
