"A very average company, but it might be a good stepping stone if you're straight out of college - lots of energetic, and smart people with Engineering degrees. Just be aware that you will not be doing any design work."

What do you like about working at Sigler?

"They do offer great parts and equipment to our customers and have a solid and loyal customer base. The company does offer a very good benefit plan as well. Working for a privately owned company can feel like a more close knit family type atmosphere but I feel this is starting to deteriorate in some respects."

"Make sure to be prepared and bring a good attitude."

What don't you like about working at Sigler?

"Stagnant monetary compensation, lack of upward mobility do to downsizing of workforce and loactions. Slow computer systems and understaffed sales counters."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Improve employee moral by some type of recognition program. Improve inventory stocking levels to avoid lost or slow sales. Computer systems and credit responses need to be be faster to facilitate smoother transactions with customers."
