"Your mileage may vary, as all ShopRite stores are independently owned. We have a good owner, but I have heard plenty of stories of bad owners. The pay is good for the position offered (well above minimum wage), the raises are okay, and workers are treated with respect. Management listens to the concerns of low-level employees - I once suggested a very minor thing to make the lives of cashiers like myself a bit easier, and I saw it implemented instantly."

"Very clicky. Hostile managment. not chance for advancement. not enough hours. part time only. age and weight descrimination. If u are not young, pretty, and have bazooms to share do not expect fair treatment."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get Real. appreciate the mature dependable hard worker who actually does the job while the children play and receive all the plums. treat people humanely, realize we all have bills to pay, not just some of you who are raking in the bucks and complaining u cant survive while u expect Us to survive on slave wages."
