"Great place to work and learn"
What do you like about working at GTM Motorsports?
"Challenging, each job was custom and had different requirements. Gratifying when I could fix issues that several other technicians only struggled with or made worse."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Follow instructions, but don't be afraid to take initiative when the time comes as the boss always recognizes the overachievers and seems to treat them better. Don't go in expecting to be a robot because that is how you will be treated and you will gladly be kept in your entry level position. Be knowledgeable, without it you won't be hired."
What don't you like about working at GTM Motorsports?
"Inconsistent workload, boss would often have me switch projects in the middle of others."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Learn to communicate more effectively to his workers and provide motivation and incentive for a job well done."

"the shop is new, and that is about the only good thing"

"look for a job somewhere else. never except a flat rate position here"

"the management never helps, the shop is ill equiped. there is never any direction."

"learn how to actually manage a quailty repair shop. learn how to keep quality employees."

"A pace working against the clock, not waiting on it."
What do you like about working at Prototek Manufacturing?
"Every project was a great example of project management. Every job coming in was usually a different set of valuable experiences."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Honesty and hard work can compensate for lack of knowledge here. if you need to start at the bottom, soak in as much as possible. Just when you think you've worked at 100%, give them an extra 50%. You will be recognized, and promotions come quick for those management can rely on."
What don't you like about working at Prototek Manufacturing?
"High stress environment. This is a quick turn precision sheet metal / machine shop. Delivery dates were law. Even if it were a one day turn, it had to happen."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Last I knew, whatever was in place was working pretty well."

"Hang on, a storm is coming. Major re-organization must occur to survive."

"Grew too fast. Shell lost control, hired too many mid-management who wondered around, lost."

"Shell should consolidate to one shift. Get back control on the floor and do what the plant is best at doing."

"I enjoyed moving around when I was first in the Navy, but now I'm ready for a career where I don't have to move around."
