"The salary at Shelby County Clerk’s office for Customer Service Rep II’s are misleading. I started off making 13.22. After 1 year received a 3 dollar raise to 16.22 due to the TN cost of living dispute. However after all of the deductions including health insurance, pension, taxes, and etc an individual basically makes the same salary as the competitors. We are not offered any overtime and constantly their are deductions. If you have more experience or degrees you are still entitled to the same pay as an individual with a HS diploma. If you are ever promoted to the next level which is Administrative Technician you will only receive .50 more but have to work three times harder due to the other job duties which is not worth it."
