"At first, I was overly excited to work at Sheetz; but then things changed. The SM's expectations were ridiculous, nothing was private, anything he was told the entire store knew before the end of the day. Promises were made regarding promotions, I was even told that this promotion was mine numerous times however it was given to another employee who is incapable of doing the job. So many false promises and I have never worked anywhere that claimed to be all about family and upholding family values but when it actually came.down to it, the atmosphere was completely different. Everything was all about money, money money and the SM's bonus. The SM and the DM will tell you they have faith in you but in reality it's all a lie. The previous DM was amazing, the new DM just doesnt have a clue. There are so many things that are happening at this store that are the direct opposite of the morals and values of sheetz that if a sheetz family member went under cover and saw they would be irate. I am 100% disappointed I. The SM that I had. He lied to me and told me what he thought I wanted to hear not once not twice but multiple times and then wondered why I got upset. ..well sheesh I WAS LIED TO over and over and over. Although I have reccomend several people now that I see that cesspool for what it is there is no why I would ever again. This is literally the worst place i have ever worked."

"I have been with Sheetz for years and been coming to library for a year on the Sheetz website, and I cleaned the gas pump and filled washer fluid and cleaned MTO floors, cleaned the floors with a floor machine and I plan on staying with the company and reconcile because the people are friendly just like I am. And I swept up cig butts around the whole building and I bag ice. Dave Frank been my supervisor for around six years."

"Make sure you can work all 3 shifts every day."

"I don't like it becasue I don't have a set schedule."

"I think we should have a set schedule with set days off"

"I liked knowing how to do everything there. Putting away truck goods was always fun. Knowing the management trusts you to do that and know where everything goes says a lot."

"Just be yourself. That's all they ask for. Make sure you give 100% everyday and the rewards come like crazy."

What don't you like about working at Sheetz?

"Not enough hours for me. I liked to work about 40+ hours, and it was hard to do as a temporary worker with school."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I have no suggestions for the management here. They run a real good store."

What do you like about working at Sheetz?

"Most customers. I like working with customers. It can be fun."

"If you are lazy backstabbler - please apply, you'll fit in!! If you are an honest, great person who likes to work with the public and with a great team - please stay away!"

What don't you like about working at Sheetz?

"Where do I start. Assistant and shift managers are required to work three shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) all in one week. District manager doesn't think we need to sleep and we must take medicine to fall asleep and to wake up. It's inhumane. Discrimination is an everyday thing. Good people are being abused and bad, lazy backstabbers and suckups are being promoted and praised. Customer service suffers because of it. Kitchens are dirty, I personally won't eat any food made there (after all, I've seen how it is make). Just stay away from there. Employees are afraid to voice their opinions due to retaliation. Managers retaliate if you honestly answer the questions about them on the surveys. The most disorganized, backstabbing place I've ever worked at. Most people work there want to get out."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would pay attention to the employees and get rid of all backstabbing and negativity in the store. Create environment where employees want to come to work. The company has potential but they are growing too fast and forget those who make the company a success."

"It is a great fast-paced work environment."

"You have to be people oriented and be able to multitask."

"It is sometimes stressful and thank-less."

"Give employees feedback and let them know when they are doing a good job."
