"Management had unrealistic expectations, fostering an atmosphere of unethical practices. There was a clearly tyrannical style and lack of leadership."

"Treat employees and customers like people and with respect, rather than like numbers or children."

"When I was with the Fort Wayne office, once a technician proved his worth and ability to complete assignements, he was given the latitude to take on the lead role for jobs, and was given access to the resources required to complete those jobs."

What do you like about working at RBS Group?

"We were given the opportunity to do what was needed to finish the projects assigned to us. We decided our work hours, within the customers' schedules, were introduced to the projects and given the latitude to best complete the projects within proper installation guidelines and were allowed to advance our skills as we worked."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"relax and be yourself"

What don't you like about working at RBS Group?

"The flood and drought cycle of the cabling business. One month we would be so busy that we had 3 or 4 large jobs on which to concentrate, and on another month, we had nothing but small time and material move-add-change assignments."

"The pay and benefits are above average for the skill level of the job. The benefits are good & I got to work with good people."

"Sell yourself & be honest."

What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?

"The company has changed a great deal & not for the better. Not only is it not an employee-friendly company anymore but they have also gone away from providing good customer service as well. As a technician I felt like any complaint or problem with policies or management fell upon deaf ears."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would like to see management listen more to its employees and customers, and also, think past the bottom line."

"It once was a great place to work, but over the years has declined in its appreciation of customers and employees alike."

What do you like about working at Verizon Wireless?

"Verizon has a good family environment & has no problem with nepotism. The pay and benefits were sufficient, and the employees, as far as the other vocational employees, were outstanding."

What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?

"The company that was once customer and employee-based is now very micromanaged, and the appreciation it once had for the customers and employees has declined a great deal."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Value your customers and employees, because they are the reason why the company has become the multi-billion dollar-grossing company it has."
