"Really poor work life balance and not adequately compensated for hours performed."

"Hire more people to spread the work out more and provide a better environment for those currently there."

"The name recognition in my career. There are valuable trainings in the company."

"For college student, I recommend the internship before the graduation will be helpful to determine if you want to work in the public accounting."

"There is a lot of overtime There is no life-work balance."

"Tax season is not as busy as BDO Seidman LLP."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"make sure you will work on the projects that they promise you for. They hired me for venture capital and private equity clients with international transactions. But they don't have a hand full of VC clients and there is no clients who need international tax service."
What don't you like about working at Hood & Strong?
"There is low professional growth opportunities and the management is not efficient."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Documents tax related information and keep memo of all the tax planning. Efficiently assign projects to staff members, not just the staff members who use to work with the partners or managers."

"It was too budget-focused and not open to process improvement for clients."

"Process improvement is not to be ignored, especially on recurring engagements."
