What do you like about working at Motorola Solutions?
"Motorola was a highly respected company for quality and I was in the Quality Department working on the first Six Sigma characteristics."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Not really. But with the rich history, research is appreciated into their history. I did my Master's thesis on the development of the flip phone."
What don't you like about working at Motorola Solutions?
"The management knew less about PCs (which were pioneered at the time) than their other businesses and it was East Coast mgmt vs West Coast mgmt styles."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think they could have stepped in stronger a bit earlier and there were some C-level movements at the time and with a bad economy, it made things more difficult being in CA vs IL or AZ."

"The changes made by the children of the owner when they brought a hatchet man in to eliminate jobs and then force people to move to another location because they liked Austin better than Diboll, but the people being supported remained in Diboll."
