  • "This review pertains to the "Architectural Project Management Department" at Sinai Hospital. The Hospital has a variety of services and has approximately 400 beds. The position I held at this Facility was a Healthcare Planner, assisting the operations manager with small interior renovations. The first day I started I felt in place and not an outsider. The department is extremely organized. Each member works independently, however, once a week we would meet as a team to overview each task, schedule and progress. If anyone needed assistance, we came together to finish each project. The pressure to achieve reach the deadline was removed on the fact we would cover each project as a team. I very much appreciated the assistance and excellent rapport with my co-workers. The working environment is very open and cooperative with all the associated departments. The software and hardware were kept in great condition and the IT response team was able to correct any type of issue that may surface. For lunch there are 2 cafeteria’s and a 24-hour Subway Sandwich shop along with a coffee shop. Parking was never issue. We were not assigned a space. Never short on spaces, I always had a parking space. As for the working environment, the facility is very clean and the support services (Janitorial, Security, etc.), are well organize and very responsive. I would like to emphasize that the security at the hospital is well maintained and disciplined with the most current safety security systems. The only reason I had to leave the Hospital was due to the fact that Covid-19 reduced the occupancy to 40%, forcing departments and Med/Surg wings to shut down. All the projects I had scheduled were canceled."
