"Japanese firm that just happens to be located outside Chicago."
What do you like about working at Konami?
"the massive strength of the company when dealing with Nintendo, Sega, Walmart, Best Buy, Lucas Arts, etc. Extrememly interesting."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't expect to have any personal life. A typical day at this company starts at 7 am and does not end until after 11 pm, 7 days a week. You have to commit all of yourself if you want to climb the ladder to the top."
What don't you like about working at Konami?
"the culture. You were working in Japan as soon as you stepped inside the office. 10 steps behind top management. Many middle managers did not last due to this pecking order."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Allow more women to attain middle management positions. Let your upper management American managers make the decisions they were hired to make."
What do you like about working at Dean Oliver International?
"It was an okay place to work, needs work though."

"Sprint/Nextel is actually a great place to work in many respects, if they could just quit laying off their workforce!!"

"Chance to grow professionally. Large budgets to work with and produce results. Campaigns were large scale and flashy, making it exciting. Frequent chances to move around and wear different hats."

"Wait until they have stabilized financially."
What don't you like about working at Sprint?
"Too many layoffs. Once every 6 months some group is going to be cut. All too often they cut the workhorses we depend on in favor of those whose #1 skill is schmoozing."

"Stop laying off."

"Don't ask for much or get too comfortable. As soon as times are low, they will let you go."

"The saying was if you are there for more than 2 years... very high turnover. No security. Also, work ethic and morale was low. Discrimination was obvious. Was considered a mid sized company run like a flower shop."

"Don't just implement new processes to streamline productivity, put someone in charge to police the processes and ensure everyone is using it properly"
