"I am actually an ME Purchasing which has some travel to suppliers. The problem is you can't easily create change for the better. Suppliers don't always listen. I am ready to go back to a process ME. I enjoy fixing problems and it is creative. I must have creativity and welcome the design element in this job. The other part I like is material selection, H.Treat and coatings."

It is very satisfying to see new products or processes start or work at ever higher degrees of perfection and efficiency.I hate that mfg. engineers are treated poorly by design engineers and are often the scapegoats for problems of a design nature."

"lack of funding at the end leading to bankruptcy and search for perspective buyer. Loss of numerous experienced people."

"I do not like the nosy environment = 97 dBa @ 100 Hz 80% of the time. Very poor EHS mitigation's."
