"Some of the managers do not know the job details of who they are supervising. Also some micro managers."

"Hire managers from within the ranks, NOT from colleges, schools with no experience."

What do you like about working at Straumann USA?
"The company provides great benefits to their employees. Depending on what kind of position you are working you basically get all you want (sales/marketing/education). The North American Head Office is a nice representable facility. Easy to reach. Free parking. In house gym and cafeteria."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do not get fooled about the very nice facilities. It's not representing the overall quality of the company as an employer. Avoid recommendations except from people in favor of the HR department."
What don't you like about working at Straumann USA?
"There were two different sets of core beliefs. One on the website, one on the intranet. 95% of the management didn't know either of them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do not only focus on sales, marketing and education department but also manufacturing and the support/shared services. Live the core beliefs. Hire according to them."
