What do you like about working at Michigan Heart?
"The company was great until the merger now we fear for our jobs."

"I would not recommend anyone to this company, you will be expected to work 50 hours or more at less than the going rate."
What don't you like about working at Michigan Heart?
"The lack of pay and promotion opportunities. I wish I had stayed at my last job and would have if they would have told me about the merger. I just want a place that appreciates hard work and it's people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Employee appreciation would be nice and now it's gone. They need new leadership."

"Flexible working hours, ability to work from home (WFM), and great people around."

"Know someone from the inside and pick their brain about the company current goals/structures."

"Very lousy IT system, massive IT oversight, committee just pushing paperwork."

"Don't hire great people only to tie them down to an extremely bureaucratic IT system."

"I like the work that I'm doing, people are generally great, company's culture"

"Be professional and confident of what you know, be flexible and fast learning"

"AVP of my business unit, unprofessional behavior in certain areas"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"to practice what they preach, example would be employee's flex time option that the company offer but management doesn't allow me to skip lunch in off peack time (all work is done)."

"The commute into work is short and the traffic tends to be moderate."

"It's all smoke and mirrors. It's like the Wizard of Oz - pull open the curtain and you're meant with disappointment. The company use to have a great image, but those days are long gone. Do yourself a favor and look some where else."
What don't you like about working at Research In Motion?
"I don't feel like I have job security. The company is undergoing a re-organization and people are being randomly layed-off, that is, its not based on merit but which department you're working at. The lay offs continue although quietly and secretively. The people at Research In Motion of some of most cold and careless people I've met. I didn't know what an ugly Canadian was until I started to work for RIM."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would try to be the best mentor possible by understanding the needs and talents of the employee. I would towards addressing the employees needs and exploiting the employees talents."

"It was fun working with some people I knew from church."

"I would be very flexible and be ready for a traditional interview process."

"There was very little support and authority given to accomplish tasks."

"I would better define roles and lines of authority for the job."

"Keep a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company. They are a great employer and I highly recommend them."

"There is room to grow, but it's difficult for IT and engineering departments, due to limited job postings."

"Management for Verizon Wireless was among the best I ever had. I have no complaints whatsoever."
