What do you like about working at FDIC?

"The ability to do the job was valued and the support , such as technology, people, was very good."

What don't you like about working at FDIC?

"Local senior management was unskilled in dealing with people. This was demonstrated in the lack of objectivity in dealing with employee movement. Local management would be personally offended and retain a grudge when a well qualified employee moved on. Communication to staff was very poor; lack of knowledge of job conditions was insufficiently communicated."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It would be to drop the idea that all management is perfect and that employees can and do make mistakes. Management would be much more in tune to their employees if they saw there role as teachers and support."
