"Use kpmg as a stepping stone because you don't want too long. You will not be rewarded despite what is said. Don't believe what you hear."

"Pay, benefits, no recognition of work quality only time on the job, idiot leadership."

"I would have a better system of accounting for the true hours individuals work and have more realistic expectations of what is required on a given project. People should be paid and rewarded for their efforts."

"A good place to become acquainted with the investment management industry."
What don't you like about working at Wilshire Associates?
"Benefits are minimal; no 401k match, no parking, PPO is very expensive and HMO outside of self is expensive. The company culture is very amateur. The work is not challenging enough."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Employee retention: 401k match would be a big help, better health benefits would also help. Charge clients appropriately for our services, so you can pay employees accordingly for their services. Try to foster team work as opposed to competition among employees."

"I like helping to manage a pet care facility because, although rigorous and stressful, I provide a service that most people respect."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Understand the limitations of working for a corporation the size of PetSmart. No action or behavior is ever tolerated unless outlined by their extensive guidelines regarding policy and procedure. As a result, you will never work for anyone who promotes creativity and individuality in the workplace. The problem is when you deal with living, breathing pets on a daily basis, there will most inevitably be times when you need to disregard those ridiculous policies which are only meant to maximize revenues anyway, and exercise the level of judgement to properly care for the lives of those animals you are directly responsible for."
What don't you like about working at PetSmart?
"Our labor model in the PetsHotel makes it impossible to properly care for the animals we board. We spend 95% of our allocated pet care hours on one service... day camp, which only accounts for roughly 20% of the hotel's total revenues. As a result, the dogs and cats that board with us are second class citizens and often go hours without being checked in on or taken care of due to the fact they won't allow the proper staffing to properly accommodate proper care."

"I would manage and delegate people and time better, and more effectively so, as to increase productivity and overall morale."
